About Dakini University

A Dakini is a woman (or man) who brings spiritual energy through her body.  She connects to the other realms, dimensions, and frequencies. She weaves the physical and non-physical.  She can bring those who are with her into these shifts of consciousness, energy and awareness.  

In some Buddhist traditions, a Dakini is a female deity or spiritual figure who embodies wisdom, compassion, and spiritual power. The attributes of a Dakini can vary depending on the specific tradition and interpretation, but some common key attributes include:

Yes, absolutely. In the Buddhist tradition, both men and women can become Dakinis. In fact, many of the most famous Dakinis in Buddhist history have been women. Dakinis are often described as embodying the feminine principle of wisdom and compassion, and they are frequently depicted as female figures in art and literature.

In some Tibetan Buddhist lineages, women who have achieved a high level of realization and embody the qualities of a Dakini are recognized as such by their teachers and may be considered as emanations of female deities. They may also be referred to as "Khandro," which means "sky dancer" or "space-goer," and refers to the Dakini's ability to move freely through the sky-like expanse of awareness.

Overall, the concept of a Dakini is not limited by gender, and anyone, regardless of gender, who embodies the qualities of wisdom, compassion, fearlessness, creativity, and playfulness, can be considered a Dakini.

She expresses her gifts while in the dance of relationship.  She can cultivate her "access" through a variety of ways and then express it through simply being (such as in mediation or every day life) and also through her spiritual practice, sensual, sexual and erotic expression. 

All women can activate their Dakini powers.  For some, this may be more dormant and for some these may be more remembered or accessible.  

What is needed on the woman's side is to learn, develop, open, express, and trust. What she needs from others is to be appropriately partnered, seen, loved, appreciated, respected, and honored.

Dakini Univeristy has a unique approach to teaching that emphasizes experiential learning and personal transformation. This university is referred to as a "mystery school" because of the way it combines traditional wisdom teachings with modern knowledge and encourages students to explore their own consciousness and inner world.

The curriculum consists of courses, programs, and retreats.  Offered both virtually and in person. 

At the moment what is required is at least one year of personal growth or therapy, a completed application and an interview process. 

Currently the larger curriculum platform is being built.  For now, programs and courses will be released on an individual basis.
